1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or completing a transaction on pehnawabyankita.in, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these terms, our Shipping Policy, and our Returns Policy.
2. Handloom Artistry & Product Representations
Our collections are handcrafted by skilled master weavers and artisans. Because handloom weaving, hand embroidery, and natural vat dyeing are non-industrial processes, slight irregularities in weave, color hue, and motif alignment are inherent characteristics of genuine artisanal garments and shall not be classified as defects.
3. Pricing & Taxes
All prices displayed on the storefront are in Indian Rupees (INR), with real-time multi-currency conversions available for international clients. Prices are inclusive of applicable Indian Goods and Services Tax (GST). We reserve the right to modify prices without prior notice, provided that accepted and confirmed orders remain unaffected.
4. Intellectual Property & Brand Rights
All textile designs, embroidery motifs, brand imagery, logos, copywriting, and visual editorial assets on this website are the sole intellectual property of Pehnawa by Ankita and are protected under Indian and international copyright laws.
5. Checkout Provider & Payment Security
All online checkout transactions on pehnawabyankita.in are provided and processed exclusively through Shiprocket Checkout over high-security 256-bit encrypted channels. We accept 1-Click UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Credit & Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery with advance confirmation.
6. Cash on Delivery (COD) & 30% Advance Reservation Policy
Because our heirloom creations, pure Banarasi silks, and Lucknowi Chikankari pieces are hand-crafted, inspected, and custom-reserved upon order placement, Cash on Delivery is offered under the following terms:
- 30% Advance Confirmation Deposit: A mandatory 30% deposit is payable online at checkout via Shiprocket Checkout to confirm your reservation and initiate fulfillment.
- 70% Doorstep Balance: The remaining 70% balance is payable in cash or UPI directly to the courier executive upon physical delivery at your doorstep.
- Courier Attempts & Holding Period: Our courier partners make up to 3 consecutive delivery attempts and maintain a maximum holding window of 7 days at the destination delivery hub.
- Re-Shipment Guarantee: If you are temporarily unavailable, traveling, or unable to receive the parcel within the courier's maximum delivery period, Pehnawa by Ankita will coordinate with you to re-ship the parcel once it returns to our atelier.
- Non-Refundability of 30% Deposit: The 30% advance confirmation deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable in cases where the customer refuses delivery or fails to accept the order within the courier's maximum wait period, as it offsets the irreversible costs of two-way insured transit, archival handling, and artisanal reservation.
7. Shipping Charges & Delivery Timelines
Shipping fees are automatically calculated based on your eligible order subtotal (₹149 for orders up to ₹1,750; ₹229 for orders above ₹1,750 up to ₹3,500; ₹250 for orders above ₹3,500 and below ₹7,000). Orders of ₹7,000 or more qualify for Free Shipping. Accurate delivery timelines will be available after order completion through our checkout partner Fastrr by Shiprocket.
8. Governing Jurisdiction & Contact
Any disputes, controversies, or legal claims arising out of your purchases or use of this website shall be governed exclusively by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
